ROAD MARKING MACHINE The machine has a large, cylindrical tank, which you can see in the image, where the thermoplastic material is heated to a high temperature, typically over 200°C (392°F). Once melted, the liquid material flows through a heated screed box or spray gun, creating a precise and consistent line. The markings often include tiny glass beads, which can be applied automatically by the machine. These beads become embedded in the hot paint, making the lines reflective at night when hit by headlights. Key Components Melting Pot: The large, stainless steel cylinder that holds and heats the thermoplastic material. Engine/Heating System: Powers the machine and heats the melting pot and application system. Application System: The part of the machine that applies the paint to the road. This can be a screed box for thicker lines or a spray nozzle for thinner ones. Glass Bead Dispenser: A separate container that automatically drops glass beads onto the freshly applied paint.
